Wyoming Double

Ford

Wyoming Double is a digital short from Ford Motor Company’s 48 Hour series, spotlighting professional ice climber and Ford Bronco Ambassador Aaron Mulkay. Set in the rugged Beartooth Mountains of Wyoming and Montana, the episode follows Mulkay as he ice climbs and kayaks on consecutive days — navigating winter terrain with the Ford Bronco as both transport and basecamp.

Produced by Field Unit for Ford Motor Company and Wieden+Kennedy (New York), the project blends outdoor adventure storytelling with branded documentary filmmaking, capturing the independence and adaptability central to both athlete and vehicle.

Out In Space Studios was brought on as a regional production partner, providing drone support, aerial equipment, on-location audio support, and grip/gaffer resources. Our team helped facilitate dynamic aerial cinematography and ground-level logistics in a remote alpine environment where weather, access, and timing all shaped production flow.

The result is a fast-paced, grounded portrait of mountain endurance — equal parts adventure film and brand story — rooted in the landscapes that define Wyoming’s winter.
