Pressure Drop, the 2025 ski film from Teton Gravity Research, captures a season defined by progression, consequence, and creativity in the mountains. As part of our ongoing collaboration with TGR — spanning more than a decade of ski film production and outdoor storytelling — Out In Space Studios supported drone cinematography for the Grand Targhee Resort segment.
The sequence centers on park skiers launching a custom-built jump feature along a high alpine ridgeline, with the Grand Teton rising to the east and Teton Valley, Idaho turning green below in early spring. Capturing aerial ski footage in that setting required tight athlete coordination, dynamic drone flight paths, and precise timing to match both scale and speed.
The result integrates seamlessly into TGR’s signature visual style — expansive, immersive, and rooted in the terrain that defines the Tetons.
