Duality: The Balance Between Chaos and Control

805 Beer

Duality is a black-and-white short film presented by 805 Beer that explores the tension between opposing forces — light and dark, fear and courage, chaos and control — through the lens of moto culture. Shot with a stripped-down, timeless aesthetic, the film follows riders Tyler Bereman and Vicki Golden as they chase mastery in motion, using minimal color and powerful contrast to mirror the film’s central theme of balance.

Out In Space Studios provided comprehensive production support, including principal cinematography, equipment rentals, drone filming, and on-set production assistance. Working alongside filmmaker Ben Giese and a talented crew that included Dylan Wineland (Director of Photography), we helped shape the visual language of the piece — from immersive aerial moto footage to kinetic ground captures — while navigating the challenges of desert heat, shifting terrain, and raw golden-hour light.

Inspired by a simple conversation and driven by honest visual storytelling, Duality is less a moto film and more a visual meditation on what it takes to push limits, embrace contrast, and ride the fine line between chaos and control.
